Personal data protection
In accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 23 April 2016, hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR") and the French Data Protection Act (Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended by Act 2018-493 of 20 June 2018, hereinafter referred to as the "French Data Protection Act"), Assystem undertakes to protect the personal data collected via the jobs.assystem.com website (the “Website”).
Assystem also undertakes to respect the principle of data minimisation. Consequently, it will only collect data that is absolutely necessary for the purposes set out below.
Purposes of data collection
The personal data collected through the Website is processed automatically under Assystem’s responsibility, so that we can:
- manage your job application(s);
- reply to your requests for information
- send you communications (newsflashes, invitations to events that may interest you, etc.)
- track the Website’s audience and enhance its content and ease-of-browsing
The personal data collected via the Website is deemed to be personal data because it allows us to identify you as a natural person, either directly (e.g. through your name etc.) or indirectly by reference to an identifier (such as your computer’s IP address or cookies).
Recipients of personal data
The recipients of the personal data collected are only the persons within Assystem and/or its sub-contractors who are responsible for recruitment, communication and tracking the Website’s audience.
The personal data collected may also be accessed by Esokia and TalentSoft – two companies that are sub-contractors of Assystem and are respectively in charge of hosting the Website and managing the job application software.
Apart from being accessed by these recipients, the personal data collected when you navigate on the Website is confidential and may not be disclosed to any third parties, notably for commercial prospection purposes, without your consent.
Assystem takes all the necessary precautions to ensure that the personal data collected via the Website remains confidential and is not in any circumstances disclosed to any third parties for commercial prospection purposes. As part of the Assystem Group's recruitment process, personal data collected for the purpose of job applications may be transferred to Assystem subsidiaries domiciled in other countries that do not have an adequate level of protection. In such cases, Assystem uses its best efforts to ensure that the transferred personal data is adequately protected
Storage of personal data
The personal data collected via the Website will not be stored for more than twelve (12) months without your consent.
In order to protect the security of all of the data collected via the Website, Assystem undertakes to take all reasonable precautions – particularly in terms of technical and organisational measures – to ensure that such data remains secure, and notably to prevent it from being altered or damaged or from being accessed by any unauthorised third party.
Please note that the messages you send us via the Website may be intercepted on the Internet. We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of such messages until we actually receive them.
Rights related to collected data
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the GDPR, all Internet users are entitled to access their personal data and/or request that it be deleted. They are also entitled to object to their personal data being processed and/or to restrict such processing, and they have a right to data portability (see cnil.fr for further information about your personal data rights).

Cookies used by Assystem
Cookies are small text files which do not enable users to be identified but which record information about the browsing history of a computer or mobile device on a particular website.
The cookies used by Assystem do not contain any personal data but simply an anonymous identification number and information related to the user’s browsing on the Website (the pages viewed and the date/time viewed, etc). They are mainly session cookies that enable the site to recognise and connect you and which store information about your browsing activity during a session. These cookies are essential for facilitating browsing and access to the website. They may be deleted or blocked but in that case some of the Website’s functions may not work properly.
