Job Description


• Work as Senior Landscape  Architect in the Architectural Department

• Reporting directly to the Architectural Head, the Work closely with the Design Project and is responsible for the coordination, development, and production of Site Development Landscape Design and Documents in support of overall project design.


  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards.

  • Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal.

  • Prepares Conceptual Design.

  • A broad experience in landscape conceptual design in public parks, streets cape, Hospitals, Communities, Schools and other spaces  which contributes to the local identity  brings economic benefits to the local economy, Healthy activities through the design of environment spaces for public events, relaxation, walking and cycling.

  • Adopting the design concept on sustainability, LEED, Green environment, Smart cities.

  • Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research. And select technical reference data pertinent to a project.

  •  Prepare and assist with developing project computations, MTO, Surveys, Statistics and designs.

  •  Knowledgeable in preparing Technical Specifications, Scope of Work Descriptions and Design Basis Report / Site Design Analysis Report.

  •  Knowledge in preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.

  • Review Sub-consultant/Sub-contractor Design drawings, specifications, calculations in coordination to the main design.

  •  Review Vendor’s Shop drawings, materials and equipment Submittal.

  •  Perform field inspection and provides professional support field support if necessary (as contract required) during construction work.

  • Aware of preparation of man hours estimates ensure all works and activities to be completed within the budgeted man-hours and ensure that the works is completed to the agreed schedule.

  •  Prepares 2D design drawings and 3D presentation.

  •  Performs routine tasks under general supervision using well-defined standards and procedures.

  •  Coordinates design with other engineering discipline.

  • Self-motivated personality with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as appropriate in workplace environment.

  •  Can handle Group of Designer and cad operators.

  •  Preparation of LOD and preparation of accomplishment/progress report

  •  Prepare the final submittal drawings and submittal review.

  • Other responsibilities as determined by the project needs.




 Professional Degree in Architecture (BS Arch.) / Landscape Architecture.


  • • Ten (10) years and above post professional experience in the Landscaping and related field required, (Gulf Experiences-7 years min. & recent 5 Years continuously working in Landscaping).

  • • In depth knowledge in RC Standards (Landscaping), Local Codes and International Codes and Standards.

  • • Knowledge and Experienced in Master Planning and Urban / Site Design Development.

  • • Knowledgeable in preparation Cost Estimation, Project Documents (DBR, SOW, BOQ, Technical Specs.).

  • • Design Experience from Medium to High Scale Community and Site Development is desirable.

  • • Analyze environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage (LEED).


  • Knowledge of Horticulture (Plantations), and Paving Materials, Site Furnitures, Architectural Landscape Features, and Idea in Irrigation Design. 

  • Must be familiar with the General Drafting Code/Standards and be able to interpret accordingly.

  • Manual Sketching skills and Presentation Skills.

  • Hands-on knowledge of the latest version of AutoCAD or related Presentation Programs.
    Knowledgeable in any of standards like, MODON, HCIS etc.

  • Client/Team Coordination, Site Analysis, Design Review, Creative Ability, Imagination and Enthusiasm.

  • Ability to engage landscaping with the complexities of urban and regional spaces such as creative solution in theory and practical skills to balance environment and human needs surroundings.

  • Ability to make a initial concept in front of client.

  • Interface layout and provide conflict solutions.

    Have knowledge and must understand the interaction between the building and the surrounding land.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Revit and 3D Civil Software (Added Advantage).

  • Familiarity/Knowledge of 3D modeling (Added Advantage) (3D Max/Sketch-Up/ Lumion) and Photoshop (Most Preferable).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
    Must know how to manage and assemble a material's presentation board.

  • Possess organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Strong ability to work under pressure and manage stress.

  • Short Courses / Certification Program Landscape.

  • Must be articulate and communicate in e-mails and verbally.

Physical Requirements:

  • • Work is generally in an office setting.
  • • Can do site visit if project requires.
