Job Description

Assystem’s Nuclear Division has recently been awarded several design contracts, and as a result are expanding their team in Somerset. As such, we now have an opening for a Waste Contracts Technical Lead to be responsible for the technical oversight on the HPC project. 

As a Waste Contracts Technical Lead you will be responsible for the technical oversight of the design, manufacture and installation of various systems on the HPC project. You as the Technical Lead will coordinate the review of the design, support the contractors and client in resolving problems, and generally ensuring an acceptable design is delivered. 

The Role: 

  • Support the production of technical works information in the setting up of the contract, and then supporting the surveillance of the contract once it is in place. 
  • Resolving open points, managing changes, managing interfaces, and various other transverse topic to ensure successful delivery of a system design. 

 



Profile

Essential Experience / Qualifications: 

  • HND / HNC in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Process etc) 
  • Experience on either Nuclear Handling Systems, Emergency Breathing Air Systems, Decontamination Baths (advantageous) 
  • Experience with Contract Management, Contract Tendering, Project Engineering 
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office package 
  • Experience with CEMAR (advantageous) 

 

**Security Clearance is required**
