As a member of the Assystem Project Team you would be required to provide support to the DCM to ensure that both consistency and compliance of documentation is maintained throughout the delivery of this project.
Supporting the Document Control arrangements, the DC will ensure the safe, efficient and right first time delivery of the Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) within their project area.
The DC will ensure that the data captured within their project area is accurate in order to allow for detailed and unambiguous analysis of LTQR metrics by the DCM.
The DC will support the DCM by conducting regular area audits as specified by the DCM.
The DC will support the DCM with any other Document Control tasks as required.
You would be accountable to the Document Control Manager for the following:
The procession of day-to-day Document Control LTQR work.
Provision of accurate weekly reporting information to support management reporting requirements.
The delivery of Document Control training and systems training to their Project Team as necessary.
The delivery of training to the Project Team related to Document Control requirements and systems.
Document Control surveillance activities in support of the agreed LTQR strategy.
Participation in Project & team meetings, and lessons learnt reviews as requested by the DCM.
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Document and Records Management knowledge gained through a minimum of 3 years Document Control / Information Management / Records Management experience.
Experience in delivering large projects, preferably in the nuclear sector, with significant focus on project quality documentation.
Position requires a focussed individual who is a team player.
Solid understanding of Lifetime Quality Records principles, and the processes involved in their production, review and acceptance.
An awareness of ISO 15489.
Be able to take instruction and communicate well.
Experience / awareness of working in a multi-cultural environment desirable.
Good understanding of documentation processes and workflows within a construction and or engineering project environment.
Pro-active, flexible and able work on own initiative to deliver against project objectives.
Exceptional computing literacy.
Good knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems with clear understanding of associated metadata requirements and workflow processes.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Products & PDF software.
The ability to provide and accept constructive challenge which is accepted by others.
The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Fluent in English language.
Document Control Qualification Preferred.
